Namihei's day / 波平の１日

I want to spend lots of time with Namihei and play with her in my room. But I've heard that it's not good for budgies. If we let budgies outside longer at weekends, they expect it on weekdays as well. And if it doesn't happen, they feel stressed...
So I just sit with her in the living room instead of letting her out.
She usually takes a nap or play with that wood toy in the daytime. And then when she seems I'm having snacks, she also starts eating her meal! At evening she knows when she can get out her cage and tries to remind me a lot with her upside-down pose. I hope she thinks she is a happy budgie.

家にいる時は、なるべく波平と一緒に過ごして遊びたいのですが、これ、インコたちには良くないそうです。週末に放鳥してたくさん遊ばせると、平日もたくさん遊んでもらえると期待し、そうじゃないとわかるとストレスに感じるそうなんです。だから、決まった通りのスケジュールが一番なんですね。
だから放鳥はせず、リビングのソファーでなみちゃんの隣に座ります。なみちゃんは日中はお昼寝したり、おもちゃで遊んだり。私がスナックを食べ始めると、なみちゃんも一緒にご飯を食べ始めます。
そして夜はもう放鳥してもらえるのがわかっているので、逆さまポーズでせかしてくるなみちゃん。
なみちゃんが幸せなインコだ～って思ってくれていますように。
