I don't like bathing! / 水遊びはイヤだ！

It was super hot and humid over the weekend here in Tokyo. I somehow managed to survive without air conditioner.
Well, Namihei kept preening herself, so I thought she must want to do bathing.
And apparently, I was wrong!
She doesn't like bathing at all. I splashed water on her and she got angry... so far, Namihei has done bathing only twice in winter! For the first time, it was when I had to take her to a bird hospital, because she was ill. She just jumped into water... perhaps she was seriously ill and her brain didn't work properly, or she felt like dressing up to see a vet?! Anyway, it's better to take a bath, isn't it?!

東京は週末、とっても蒸し暑かったです。我が家はなんとかエアコンなしで過ごせました。
波平はというと、ずっと羽繕いをしているわけです。水浴びしたいのかな、と思ったのですが、どうやら違ったようです。
なみちゃんは水浴びが嫌いです。だから、こっちから水をパシャパシャかけてみたのですが、怒りを買っただけ…。
なみちゃんが水浴びしているのを見たのは、これまでたったの２回。しかも真冬に！初めて水浴びしたのは、具合が悪くなって、なみちゃんを病院に連れて行く日でした。よっぽど具合が悪くて、異常な行動に出てしまったのか、それとも、獣医さんに会うために、おめかししたかったんでしょうかね？！
