Having a peaceful day / 波平の平穏な１日

I'm count the days until I can play outside again!

It was raining all day here and we both spent all day at home. Well, I say we both had a peaceful day.
I put some music on so that Namihei wouldn't get bored. And me, I kept reading a novel sitting near her. Occasionally I called her and mimicked her, which made her "Curious Budgie, Namihei".
All in all, we are still getting, I suppose. Sometimes she looks as if she is asking me why she can't play outside and every time I explain to her.
Namihei, believe me, I'm also counting the days until I can let you out and play with you!

今日は朝から雨が降っていて、私となみちゃんは１日中家の中で過ごしました。まさに、平穏な１日を過ごしたわけです。
なみちゃんが飽きないようにと音楽をかけ、私は読みかけの小説に没頭。たまになみちゃんに話しかけたり、なみちゃんのマネをしたり。これにはなみちゃん、90度以上首を傾げてました（笑）。
たぶん、私たちはうまくやっていると思います。時々、「なんで外に出られないの？」とまるで聞いているかのような表情を見せますが、その度なみちゃんに理由を聞かせるわけです。
なみちゃん、これだけは信じてちょうだい。私だってなみちゃんをケージから出してあげて、一緒にまた遊べる日を首を長くして待っているんですよ！
