On this day, I launched a new blog for Ikura and Tara.
As you may notice, I post a new entry less frequently these days, and I had been thinking.
This blog is for Namihei, "I'm not an ordinary budgie!". I named it, because Namihei was as an English budgie at a shop (actually she wasn't. I think she just had English budgie ancestors).
While I kept this blog, I realised she was indeed an amazing budgie though.
One year has passed since Ikura and Tara joined me, and I want to treat them in the same way I did for Namihei. They're not substitutes for Namihei, but I don't want to change the layout of this blog.
Google+ was shut down last month and this is one of the reasons why I decided to move on.
Of course, I keep this blog as Namihei's one, but if you look to the new blog, you're always welcome!

この月命日に、みなさまに新しいブログを開設したことをご報告します。
お気づきのとおり、ここ最近ブログの更新頻度がめっきり減っていました。
というのも、先月Google+が閉鎖され、blogger自体の使い勝手が悪くなったことが理由のひとつですが、イクラとタラのための何かをやりたい…という思いがずっとありました。
イクラとタラが我が家に来て１年以上経ち、ふたりが波平の代わりではないこと、ふたりから学んだことをみなさんにシェアしたい、などなど漠然と考えていました。
でも、このブログはやはり波平との思い出がたくさん詰まっており、波平ブログと呼びたいし、レイアウトの写真も変えたくない。
そんなわけで、このブログを残しつつ、新しいブログを開設することにしました。こちらでは、イクラとタラの日常はもちろん、インコとの生活でのお役立ち情報や、そのほか思いつくことを、以前のようにコンスタントに更新していければと思っています。
波平ブログ同様、イクラとタラの新しいブログもぜひ応援よろしくお願いします！

*波平ブログのタイトル、"I'm not an ordinary budgie!" (普通じゃない）の由来は、波平がジャンボセキセイとしてペットショップにいたため、ノーマルセキセイじゃないというギャグに基づいたものでした。しかし、波平と暮らす中で、やはりインコはただものじゃない、素晴らしい存在であることに気づかされたため、新しいブログでもタイトルを引き継いでいます。
