Stubborn, eh? / 頑固かも？

I think Namihei is quite stubborn.
When he came to my house, he seemed to be very shy and quiet. But I felt that he was kind of a strong-willed budgie.
He doesn't make a fuss, but he rather goes on a hunger strike, I suppose.

One night, I came back home late and I found him sleeping on the entrance of his cage in a dark! Well, he must have been waiting for me to let him out...
And now he does this pose when he wants to attract my attention!

波平は、かなり頑固だと思う。

家にお迎えした時は、とっても恥ずかしがり屋でおとなしそうに見えたなみちゃん。でも、なんとなく強い意志を感じられたわけです。
自分の主張を通すために発狂するよりも、むしろハンストに出るタイプ？

ある晩、帰りが遅くなってしまって、明りをつけずに部屋に入ったら、暗闇の中、なみちゃんがケージの入り口で固まっているのを発見。どうやら外に出してもらうのを待ち疲れてそのままそこで寝ていたらしい。恐るべし、波平！

今はというと、この決めワザポーズで外に出してくれるまで粘ってます。

Let's talk about Namihei. / 波平について語る

Yes, I can talk about Namihei every day, but if I post blog entry about him on my website every day, it can be a bit annoying. 

This is why I have created another blog page for Namihei.
You don't know who is Namihei? Well, he is my budgie, a little rascal.

He came to my house on the 3rd of October, 2014.
At first, I was thinking of another budgie as Namihei. That blue baby was energetic and came to me with no hesitation. But... on the following day, I couldn't recognise him, as there were many blue newcomers!

Then I noticed the yellow big one sitting close to me. This yellow one didn't move at all and it just stayed near me. This is how I met Namihei. When I put my finger in front of him, he jumped to it and it seemed that he had no objection to come with me.

Well, he isn't a normal budgie... a "jumbo" budgie, which means he is bigger (and his price was "jumbo" too!). Anyway, I shouldn't complain about it now, as we both are happy, aren't we?!

毎日だって波平について語れるけれど、それを自分のホームページでやってしまうと、インコに興味ない人はきっと興ざめ。

そこで、なみちゃんだけ（インコだけ、トリさんだけ）を思う存分話せるようにブログを開設してみました。そうです、波平はあのマンガのキャラではなく、我が家のいたずらっこ、ジャンボインコのことです。

波平をお迎えしたのは2014年10月３日。
最初は別の水色のインコに目をつけていたものの、翌日またショップにいたら、水色インコが激増していて、どの子がお目当てだったかわからない。しかも、どの子も寄ってこなかった…。隣のケースを見たら、黄色い子が手前にひっそり座っているわけです。私が近寄ってもビクともせず、そばにちょこんといるじゃないですか。ショップのお姉さんにお願いしてケースから出してもらうと、素直に指に乗った…。もうこの子をもらっていくしかない。ジャンボだけど（体だけじゃなくて、値段もジャンボでした）、今となれば私たち幸せだから文句なし？！
