Ikura and Tara can be brothers?! / イクラとタラは兄弟?!

When two people spend lots of time together, they grow to look alike each other, right?
Well, it happens to budgies, I think. Look at the photo of Ikura and Tara. Don't you think they look like real brothers?!
Okay, their characters and preferences are different. You know, Ikura is very gentle and Tara is aggressive. Ikura is very friendly and like humans. Tara is curious and like toys.
But... their voice are very similar and I often can't figure out who is chatting. Sometimes I mix up their names too. I know I'm a silly mum, but it happens...
Anyway it's so lovely to see them like this!

一緒に過ごす時間が長くなると、互いに似てくる…なんてよく言いますよね。これ、セキセイインコにも当てはまるのでしょうか？
最初の写真、イクラとタラ、兄弟のように見えませんか？
このふたり、もちろん性格も好みもまったく違います。ご存知のようにイクラは優しい性格で、タラはグイグイ系です。イクラは人見知りしないタイプで人間が大好き。タラは好奇心旺盛でおもちゃが大好き。
でも、じつは声も似てるんです。なのでどちらがおしゃべりしているのかよくわからない時もあります。さらに、イクラとタラの名前をごっちゃにしてしまって、イクラのことをタラちゃん、タラのことをイクラちゃん、なんて呼んでしまったり。これは飼い主失格でしょうか…。
それにしても、こんな風に兄弟のようなふたりを眺めていられるのは幸せですね。
