Waiting so long... / 波平、留守番はつらいよ

Yesterday I was really working hard and couldn't go home early enough. Of course, I worried about Namihei so much. Unfortunately my mum was also working late. I'm sure Namihei was waiting for us in the dark with lack of seeds! (I usually give her evening seeds around 19:00, but I was still working!)
Well, she looked so happy and cheerful when she saw my return. Of course, I managed to play with her a bit.
When she is lonely and misses me enough, she is very cute. She sticks to me and sings softly. But Namihei, please don't try to steal what I'm eating! Sometimes she is very cunning.

昨日は残業で、家に帰るのも遅くなってしまいました。もちろん、仕事中、波平のことが心配でしかたないわけです。母親もちょうど昨日は残業で、なみちゃんはきっと、暗闇の中で私たちの帰りを待っていたんでしょうね。しかも、ごはんが足りない状況で！というのも、夜のごはんはだいたい７時にあげるようにしてるのですが、昨日はまだこの時間、働いてました。
帰宅すると、なみちゃんがとってもハッピーで、うれしそうに見えました。もちろん、少しですが一緒に遊びましたよ。
寂しさと、私を恋しがる気持ちが十分なときは、なみちゃんはかわいらしいです。私から離れないし、やさしくさえずってくるんですよ。でも、なみちゃん、ひとが食べてるものを盗もうとしちゃダメですよ！なみちゃんって、本当に抜け目ないときがよくあるんですよね。
