I'm not an ordinary budgie! / フツーのインコじゃないよ。

When I started this blog with titling "I'm not an ordinary budgie", I didn't expect this situation. I just meant she had got English budgie blood so that she was a bit bigger than normal budgies.
Well, I must say she is indeed not an ordinary budgie.
I visited her at clinic today and was really surprised with her recovery. She eats by herself without problems and even has gained some weight.
She called me as well and it was really lovely.
I'm expecting that she will come back home quite soon and the receptionist says she was really amazed with her super recovery. I know there are many difficulties to look after her at home, but I'm sure we can do it. I can't wait to take her home!!

このブログを始めたとき、波平はジャンボの血も入っているから並セキセイじゃないね、という意味も込めて、"I'm not an ordinary budgie" (フツーのインコじゃないよ）というタイトルを付けました。
その時はまさかこんなことが起きるなんて、考えてもいませんでしたからね。
でも改めて思うんです。なみちゃんは、本当にただのインコではなかったと。
今日、ようやく面会できたのですが、なみちゃんの回復力に驚かされました。もう問題なく自分でごはんを食べていて、体重も増えたほど！
そして、鳴いたんです。威嚇っぽく聞こえましたが、それでもかわいいと思えるのが飼い主（笑）ですね。
退院する日もそう遠くないんじゃないかと思ってます。来週も面会できますかと聞いた時、まだ入院していれば、という返答だったので。
退院後の生活は、いろんな問題が山積みです。それでも、ふたりならなんとか乗り切っていけるのではないかと信じています。いまはただ、退院してお家に戻ってくる日が待ち遠しくてしかたありません。
