I shall be waiting. / 待ってます。

when Namihei is with me in my room, she doesn't want me to leave the room. When I'm leaving, she tries to follow me. But she doesn't follow me, if it's dark in the corridor or the living room. Perhaps she is afraid of darkness!
Sometimes she is into what she is doing and doesn't notice me leaving. In that case, because she isn't sure where I am, she is waiting for me on the door knob of my room with calling me. Well, she is like a loyal budgie and waits there until I come back. For a while she keeps calling me, but then she waits there quietly. Maybe I should call her "Hachi" instead of "Nami"!

私と一緒に部屋にいるときは、波平はひとりになりたくないようです。私が部屋から出ようとすると、なみちゃんもついてこようとします。でも、廊下やリビングが暗い時は、暗闇が怖いのか、ついてくることはありません。
遊びに夢中で、私が出て行ったことに気がつかないこともあります。そんな時は、私がどこに行ったのかわからないので、部屋のドアノブの上にちょこんと乗って、呼び鳴きして私を待つわけです。なんだか忠犬ならぬ忠鳥ですね。しばらく呼び鳴きした後は、だまってドアノブの上で私の帰りを待ってるんです。たぶん、これからは「ナミ」じゃなくて、「ハチ」と呼んだほうがいいのでしょうか。
