Interloper, Namihei / 侵入者、波平

Smirk!

I'm wondering... does Namihei recognise me as her keeper?! What am I for her?
Anyway, she doesn't listen to me and now my precious book shelf is very attractive for her.
It's okay if she just hangs around there, but it's not okay if she breaks my books!
I need to think of something to protect my property...
By the way, she also likes to play with toilet paper. I use it to wipe her poo and try to hide it from her, but she is good at finding it.
Perhaps I should get a toy, I mean a proper one for budgies!

波平は、私のことを飼い主だって認識しているのでしょうか。なみちゃんにとって私って？！
なみちゃんは私の言うことは聞かないし、今は私の大切な本棚が楽しい遊び場に。
もちろん、そこでウロウロしているだけなら問題ありませんが、本を破壊する行為は認められません！
置いてある本をどうやってなみちゃんから守るかが今後の課題ですね。
ところで、なみちゃんはトイレットペーパーで遊ぶのも大好きです。このトイレットペーパーで私がなみちゃんの落し物を掃除しているわけですが、普段は隠して保管しているつもりなのに、なみちゃんは見つけるのが上手。
何かおもちゃを、インコちゃん用のものを買ってあげないといけませんね。

Poo seeker Yukari / フンを探し回る飼い主

These days Namihei likes exploring my room and she often causes trouble.
Well, for example, she enjoys biting my books in the shelf!
Anyway, one more thing I must tell you. Now I need to check everywhere to find her poo...
You know, she doesn't care where she drops it.
So far I'm quite successful to track her move.
She is a pickle and has no fear of anything, but she is also sensitive too.
Last night I picked a box from the shelf where she was hanging around. She heard the noise and flied around in a panic. She hit the wall too! That's not good, because she got ill after hitting the wall last time.
It seems that she is fine this time. Oh, she got strong!

 
 最近、波平はよく部屋中を探検しまくるので、問題も起きます。
例えば、本棚の本をかじってしまうとか。
もう１つ、言っておきたいのは問題が、なみちゃんの落し物。飼い主、今はなみちゃんのフンを探し回る、清掃員と化しています。どこでも構わず落としますからね！
いたずらっこ、なみちゃん。何も恐れない、と思っていたら意外と神経質な一面も。
昨晩、なみちゃんが本棚で遊んでいる時に、そこから箱を取ったんです。その音にびっくりしたのか、パニック状態になって部屋中を飛び回り、壁に衝突。
前回の恐怖がよみがえった瞬間です。なぜって、以前なみちゃんが具合が悪くなったきっかけが、壁に衝突だったからなんです。
でも、今回は大丈夫だった模様。強くなったね、なみちゃん！

Negotiator Namihei / 交渉鳥、波平

I usually get up a little late on Saturday morning.
She hasn't got the patience to wait for me, I suppose.
While I am getting dressed, she tries to attract attention to her.

And this is the posture when she is demanding to let her out. 
She is quite stubborn and keeps that posture until I have a look at her. 
Well, she can enjoy outside longer on Saturday morning, as I need to wash her cage in the living room. So, Namihei, please have a little patience!

土曜日の朝はちょっとだけお寝坊。でも、波平は待ってはくれないです。飼い主が身支度している間、すでに外に出してくれモードになっているわけです。
この、逆立ちポーズが「出してちょうだい」アピール。こっちが振り向くまで続けてます…。頑固ですね、なみちゃんは。
でも、土曜の朝はいつもより長く外で遊べるんですよ。だって、飼い主が一生懸命なみちゃんのケージを洗ってますからね。だからなみちゃん、もうちょっとだけ我慢してね！

Namihei needs a scratcher / 孫の手が欲しい

It seems that another moulting period is bothering Namihei now.
I thought she just had finished the previous one and would be fine for a while though.
So now her face looks like a hedgehog!
Anyway, the problem is she hasn't got a budgie mate, so she has to deal with moulting itch. Of course, I'm willing to help her, but she doesn't want it.
Well, it seems that she has found a solution!

 
また波平に換羽期が訪れたようです。ついこの間終わったばかりだと思っていたんですけど。
というわけで、なみちゃんの顔はハリネズミのようになっています。
なみちゃんにはインコ仲間がいないので、カキカキしてくれる相手はなく、このかゆみをひとり（一羽）でどうにかしなければいけません。
もちろん、飼い主は助ける気満々なのですが、本人は拒否。
とりあえず、なんとかする方法は見つけたようですけどね！

Pick, pickle, Namihei / いたずら大好き波平

Budgies are very smart, I think. And they are good at finding something interesting.
As for Namihei, these days she
turned into a bold adventurer in my room.
She tries to find out everything with pecking without hesitation.
But... she is still not interested in green veggies. She even doesn't have a bite.
I wish I could ask her why she hated it!
She always wants to come to my camera or smart phone, so maybe I should put green veggies on them.

  インコたちはとっても頭が良くて、何かおもしろいものを見つけるのが得意だと思います。
波平の場合は、最近私の部屋で勇敢な探検家になっています。
躊躇なく、くちばしでツンツンしながら何でもチェックするわけです。
でも、相変わらず小松菜はご興味がない模様。一口食べることさえしませんからね。
なんでそんなに嫌なのか聞ければいいんですけど。
なみちゃんは私のカメラやスマホにはいつも喜んで近づいてくるので、ここに小松菜を仕掛けておけばいいかもしれませんね。

Mirror mirror / 鏡よ鏡

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?"
Perhaps every budgie loves looking in a mirror. Namihei is no exception!
I used to keep a rosy-faced lovebird and we were together for 16 years.
Her name was Ponta and she didn't like to look in a mirror. 
I think this was because she believed that she looked like me, a human and didn't want to accept the real appearance.
As for Namihei, it seems that she has not understood what she can see in the mirror though. At least, she enjoys flying around my room, so she must understand the difference between her and me!

「鏡よ鏡、世界で最も美しいのはだあれ？」
たぶん、インコたちはみんな鏡を見るのが好きですね。波平も例外ではありません。
以前、小桜インコを飼っていたのですが、彼女は鏡を見るのは嫌いでした。
16年間一緒にいた、とってもかわいいインコ。ポンタという名前でした。おそらく、自分も人間だと思っていたから、鏡に見える自分の姿を認めたくなかったんでしょうか？
なみちゃんは、鏡に見えるものがいったい何なのか、まだ理解していないように思えます。少なくとも、部屋中を楽しく飛び回っているし、飼い主との違いは理解していると思うんですけどね。

Distance between Namihei and me / 波平との距離

These days I think we are doing well and I feel that Namihei trusts me.
Namihei didn't care about me much and she tended to play alone.
But now she likes staying around me and enjoys playing with me.
Besides she often looks toward me when I call her.
Yes, our relationship is getting better!
When I want her to go back to her cage, it's not so easy to let her go. She flies around my room and tries to escape from me.
This morning it was a bit different from the usual.
She didn't want to go back to her cage, but she always came to me when I called her. So after several times I called her, I was able to let her get back to the cage.
I'm not sure what she thinks I am, but she must trust me enough!

最近、飼い主と波平の関係は良好で、なみちゃんの信用を得ているように感じます。
なみちゃんは私のことはどうでもよくって、ひとり（一羽）で遊んでいることの方が多かったんです。
でも今は、私の近くによくいたがるし、一緒に楽しそうに遊んでくれるんです。
しかも、呼べばこっちを見てくれることが多くなりました。
ケージに戻ってほしい時は、嫌がって部屋中を飛び回るので一苦労。
今朝はちょっと違いました。逃げることは逃げますが、呼べば戻ってくるんです。何度か繰り返しているうちに、そのままケージまで戻ってくれました。
なみちゃんが私のことを何だと思っているかは不明ですが、少なくとも信頼するに足る存在だとは思われているようです！

Don't step on... / 踏まないで！

A tragedy happened in the morning.
Perhaps you can guess what happened?
When I find Namihei's poo while she plays in my room, I always wipe it with toilet paper.
You know, it's always important to keep everything clean.

This morning I found Namihei's poo on my desk and was going to wipe it.
Well, I wasn't quick enough this morning, I suppose.
I saw Namihei stepped on it! And I knew what would happen when I saw it.
Do you?!
She jumped onto my head, yes, her head-port!
Of course, with her poo stuck to her left or right leg... and I really felt that she had deliberately done it. Okay, I admit that you're not an ordinary budgie!

悲劇が起こったのは朝。
波平が部屋で遊びまわっているとき、フンをしたのを見つけたら、必ずトイレットペーパーで拭き取るようにしています。
きれいにしておくことは大切ですからね。
 今朝、なみちゃんがフンを机の上でしたので、いつものように拭き取ろうとしましたが、遅かったようです。
なみちゃんがフンを踏んでしまったわけです。次の瞬間、何が起こるかすぐに想像できました。
そう、そのフンをつけた脚で私の頭に飛び乗ったんです！絶対わざとやったに違いない…。なみちゃん、フツーのインコじゃないってことは認めますよ！

Enjoy the sunshine! / 日なたぼっこ

Last night Namihei did weird dancing again (please look at the photo here).
I still have no idea what it means and why she does it.
But... I'm sure it means either she is unhappy with her life or she is trying to make me laugh. Well, this is why she is looking at me while dancing!
Anyway, I thought another possibility today. She might have an itch on her back because of the moulting period.
Fortunately it was a lovely day outside, so I decided to let her enjoy the sunshine outside for a while.
She was really nervous at first, but then relaxed. Of course, I stayed with her just in case! Hmm... perhaps she needs to have a bath next!

昨晩、波平がまた変な踊りを披露してました（写真参照）。この踊りの意味はいったい何なのか…。
たぶん、自分の人生に不満を持っているのか、それとも単に飼い主を笑わせようとしているのか。だから踊ってても視線は常に飼い主に向けられているのか？！
今朝、もう１つの可能性を思いつきました。換羽中だから、背中がかゆいのでは。
幸い今日は外は良い天気です。というわけで、波平人生初の外での日なたぼっこ。
最初はびくついてたなみちゃんですが、すぐにリラックスモードに。もちろん、心配なので飼い主も隣で見守ってました。
たぶん、次に必要なのは水浴びでしょうかね！

Growing Namihei / 成長する波平

If Namihei were a human, she would be a primary school kid now.
Yes, time flies! And her flight feathers are very long now.
She doesn't hesitate to fly around my room anymore. And you know what I became for her... (a head-port!)
Some people clip their lovely budgies' feathers a bit to avoid their escape by accident.
Well, I let Namihei fly around my room and remove anything looks dangerous to her.
So Namihei, please learn to come to me when you're called!

波平が人間だったら、いまはちょうど小学生くらいです。あっという間に成長しましたね。今は風切羽も伸びて、遠慮なく部屋中を飛び回っています。
はい、飼い主もなみちゃんの着陸地点として活躍しています！
飼い主さんによっては、誤まってインコちゃんたちが逃げてしまわないように、羽をクリッピングしたりするようですが、なみちゃんには好き勝手させてあげましょう。一応、なみちゃんに危険になるようなものは取り除くようにしていますし。
というわけで、あとなみちゃんに期待することは、頼むから呼んだらちゃんと来てね！

What Namihei likes / 波平の好きなもの

Namihei likes this long seed, but it seems that she enjoys just chewing it.
Then she leaves it in the end. Sometimes she puts it into the water and then chases it.
What else does she like? I think she also likes something very shiny. This is why I always have to hide my watch and jewellery from her.
Oh, and of course, she is interested in the plastic cases I bought recently!
She may be just curious with the reflection of herself on the case though.
Anyway, it's always interesting to watch her wandering in my room!

波平が好きなのがこの細長いシード。でも、単にムシャムシャしているのが好きなだけかもしれません。最終的にはポイって捨ててますから。
たまに、水入れに入れてみて、シードを追いかけてみたり。
他に好きなものといったら、光るもの。なみちゃんからは時計やジュエリーは隠しておかねばなりません。
それから、忘れてはいけないのが最近購入したプラスチックのケース。もしかしたら、そこに映る自分に興味を持っているだけかもしれませんけどね。
なみちゃんが部屋中をトコトコ探検している姿は、本当に見ていて飽きませんよ！

Can we become friends? / 友だちになれる？

Today I was off, so I had more time to spend with Namihei in the morning.
Well, I felt that she was in a good mood and she was actually around me a lot.
I have heard that a budgie nods his head a lot when he is happy or finds something interesting.
Yes, Namihei kept nodding her head whilst patting on the desk.
But... I must have ruined our good relationship later. I found a poo stuck near her arse and wanted to remove it. She got angry so much! But you know, it's always important to think of hygiene!

今日は飼い主、有休消化のため、朝はいつもよりゆっくり波平との時間を過ごせました。
なんとなくご機嫌にみえるなみちゃん。飼い主の周りで楽しそうに遊んでいました。
インコがご機嫌なとき、頭を縦にぶんぶん振るそうですが、なみちゃんも机の上を歩きながら、ぶんぶんしてました！
でも、私たちの関係に少々ヒビが入ってしまったかも…。おしりの辺りにフンがこびりついていたので、無理やりとりました。
ものすごく怒るなみちゃん。でも、清潔にするのって、とても大事ですよね？！

Well, I don't think Namhei looks good in a photo.
Why? Because she often appears with closed eyes in a photo.
Okay, if she is sleeping, that's okay. I think that will be lovely.
But what about half-closed eyes?!
Or do you say this is all my fault? I'm a terrible photographer?
Well, I don't think so!
Anyway, today I should upload these unwanted photos. 
By the way, she is doing well and enjoy flying a lot!

ところでみなさん、写真写りは良い方ですか？波平は、どうやら良くないようです。というのも、よく目をつぶっているんです！
もちろん、眠っている姿であれば、かわいいですけどね。 でも半目ってどうですかね…。
写真を撮る側の腕が悪いって？！そんなことありませんよ。

Fun!

Namihei finally responded to my calling this morning.
I called her whilst stretching my right forefinger toward her.
Yes, she came to me! But... she landed on my head, not my finger.
Do you remember I once complained about it in my post?
She tends to land on my head and often pecks at my hear. I really hope not to become bald because of her...
Well, she usually ignores my calling, "Nami chan", but she always pays attention to one phrase, "I'm going."
She knows I'm leaving when she hears this phrase! So all in all, not too bad, I suppose.

Did you call me?

今朝、ようやくなみちゃんが私の呼び掛けに答えました！
呼びながら、右手人差し指をなみちゃんの方へ向けると、向かってきたではありませんか。ただし、指に止まったのではなく、頭ですが…。
以前、よく頭に着陸されて困る、というようなことをブログに書きましたが、そうなんです、よく頭に止まるんです。
そして、髪の毛をついばみ始めるんです。
いつかなみちゃんのせいではげるんじゃないかと心配なほど。
だいたい、私の呼び掛けは無視されますが、唯一反応してくれるのが、「いってきます」という言葉です。これを聞くと、本当に飼い主どっかに行くんだっていうことがわかっているようです。というわけで、まあそんなに悪くないか、と思ってるんですけどね。

Open Sesame!

Curious Namihei!
When I'm doing something, she always have a curious look. And these days, she bothers me with opening the paper feed tray of the printer in my room.
Once she has learned how to open it, she enjoys opening it a lot.
Furthermore now I can see her scratch on the printer a lot.
What else does she like? My mobile phone, iPhone, cameras, and pens!
Yes, she loves pens!!!
By the way, she is aggressive now and bites my hands a lot. Someday I may need to wear gloves...

I need to check everything with my beak!

知りたがりやの波平。
飼い主が何かしていると、興味津々の熱い視線を送ってくるなみちゃん。
最近、飼い主が頭を悩ませているのが、なみちゃんのプリンター遊び。用紙トレーが開けられるようになって以来、何度も開けて楽しむなみちゃん。そして、プリンターにはいくつもの傷跡が！
ほかに好きなもの？私の携帯電話にiPhone、カメラにペン！そうです、ペンが大好きです！！！
ところでまた凶暴化している波平。私の手も傷だらけ。いつか軍手でもしないといけないかも…。

Namihei's Suntory time / 波平のリラックス時間

Have a bath!

"For relaxing times, make it Suntory time."
Just in case, Namihei is having a bath. Not drinking! And that is just water... actually, water with vitamins!
I always pour water into that plate when Namihei is playing outside.
Well, it's supposed to be drinking water, but it seems that she wants to be dripping wet.
Anyway, this is how she relaxes and enjoys herself, I suppose.
Neither of us can drink whisky, but at least we do know how to make it Suntory time!

Hello!

『くつろぎの時間は、サントリーの時間にしましょう。』(こんな訳になるんですかね？）
念のため言っておきますが、なみちゃんはお風呂に入ってるだけです。飲んでませんよ！
しかもこれ、単なる水です。いや、ビタミン剤入りの水です。
なみちゃんが外で遊んでいる時は、いつもプレートに飲み水として水を入れているのですが、どうやら水浴び用にも活用したいらしいです。
ま、リラックスモードで楽しんでくれればそれでいいんですけどね。
私たち、どちらもウィスキーなんて飲めませんが、サントリー時間（＝くつろぎ時間）の作り方なら知ってます！

Saturday morning / 休みの朝

Saturday morning. We usually get up a little late and then I clean up Namihei's cage.
Perhaps she also realised today was Saturday. She looked sleepy in the morning and it took time to be "Namihei".
Recently I find lots of her big feathers left and I'm wondering when she will have new ones.
Of course, she looks okay and can fly a lot. But she needed my help to come down from the door.
Well, she can go up, but can't come down!

Do exercise!

土曜日の朝は、私たちは少し遅く起きます。起きたら、まずはなみちゃんのケージのお掃除。
どうやらなみちゃんも今日が土曜だと気づいていたようです。いつまでたっても眠そうななみちゃん。いたずらモードになるにも時間がかかっていました。
最近、大きな羽がたくさん抜け落ちているのを目にします。いつになったら新しい羽が生えてくるのでしょうか？
もちろん、元気そうだし、飛ぶことだってできます。
でも、今日はドアの上まで飛んだものの、降りられず、私のヘルプを待つ始末…。
上に行けるけど、降りてこられないんですね！

Tomboy budgie, Namihei / おてんばインコ波平

I have a cunning plan...

Well, I'm wondering if Namihei is really a girl. The doctor says she is, but I often doubt it.
Perhaps she is just a tomboy budgie?
It seems that she is always thinking of a new cunning plan to annoy me...
When I came back home, I found quite a big puddle on her cage.
She must have shaken her water box a lot and spilled the water.
And this was the reason why she was stuck to her heater...
One day I want to put a video camera in my room while I'm out. Then I find out what she is doing.

I want to throw it away!

波平は、本当に女の子なのでしょうか。クリニックではそう言われましたが、疑念をよく抱いてしまいます。
たぶん、おてんばなだけでしょうか？
なみちゃんは、どうもいつもどうやって飼い主を困らせようかと策を練っているように見えるんですよね。
今日は帰宅すると、ケージの床に大きな水たまりが。どうやら水入れをガンガンくちばしで揺らして、水をこぼしてしまったようです。
だから寒くてヒーターにぴったりくっついていたんですね！
いつか、部屋にビデオカメラでも設置して出かけようかと思うのですが。そうしたら、留守中になみちゃんが何をしているのかわかりますね。

Are you having a laugh? / おかしい？

I'm all right!

I think Namihei likes me and is always thinking about how to attract my attention.
Last night she kept rolling before going to sleep.
Well, she is completely fine and it wasn't the sign of illness.
Does she forget what she is? Or she wants to join the circus?!
When she came to my house, she looked cool though. She was like a 007 budgie. But now she looks just funny...
Let's say she has got a good sense of humour at least!

Shall I do it again?

波平は私のことが大好きで、いつもどうやって注目してもらおうか考えている気がするんです。
昨晩、寝る前にひたすら転がっていました。念のため言っておきますが、なみちゃんは健康で、これは決して病気のサインなんかじゃないんです。
自分が何者なのか忘れてしまったのか。それともサーカスに入りたいのか。
まだ我が家に来たばかりの頃、なみちゃんはもっとクールで、007のエージェントインコみたいだったんですけど、今じゃ単におかしなインコに見えるだけですね。
でも、笑いのセンスだけはピカイチってことでしょうか！

Namihei loves Nikolay / 波平はニコライが好き

Let me take a shot!

I think Namihei likes Nikolay a lot.
Who is Nikolay?! Well, it's my DSLR camera...
I tend to give a name to my belonging. You know, it's a Nikon camera, so I just named it "Nikolay".
I also have a Canon camera and its name is "Candy".
I'm sure you've got how it works!
Anyway, let's get back to Namihei.
At first, she was very afraid of a big black stuff when I tried to take a photo of her.
Then she has got used to it and now she always tries to come to it.
So whenever I want to take a nice photo of her, she actually ruins it. Of course, she doesn't mean it though. Anyway, it's quite difficult to take photos of Namihei now.
But it's my turn to say this, "I shall never give up!"

I can become a good model too.

たぶん波平はニコライのことが大好きです。ニコライって誰？！あ、私のデジタル一眼レフカメラのことです（笑）。
持ち物にはなんでも名前を付けてしまう傾向がありまして。
こちらはニコンのカメラなので、『ニコライ』。キヤノンのカメラも持っているんですけど、そちらは『キャンディ』。
なんとなくからくりがわかっていただけたと思いますが…。
波平の話に戻りますが、最初はやっぱりこの黒い得体のしれない物質に怯えていたわけです。
でも、あまりにも毎日しつこくカメラを向けるので、そのうち慣れ、今では喜んで向かってきてしまう始末。
ベストショットを狙っている飼い主としては、なみちゃんの行動はなんとしても防ぎたいところ。今日は私が言わせてもらいます、このセリフ。「絶対あきらめないからね！」

Battle with Namihei / 波平との戦い

You shall not pass!

Yes, Namihei is very stubborn and sometimes throws a sly look at me.
This is the battle with Namihei!
She wants to go inside a book shelf and I try to block her. 
Am I mean?! Should I let her pass?!
Well, I do know what will happen if she gets inside. It's a book shelf, which means there are many books there.
And it means she will enjoy biting them a lot.
She always tries to get what she wants. For example, when I have biscuits, she always comes to me and tries to steal some. 
Of course, I won't give it to her (it's not good for budgies), but she never gives up!
Namihei, I should say, "From Yukari with love!"

Oi, that's mine.

波平はとっても頑固で、たまにすごい視線を私に送ってきます。
なみちゃんとの戦い…。
本棚の中へと行きたがる波平。それをなんとか阻止しようとする飼い主。
いじわる？！好きなところで遊ばせてあげればいい？！
そんなわけにはいかないんです。だって本棚には大切な本がたくさん置いてあって、なみちゃんは絶対それを好き放題かじりまくるんですから。
欲しいものは何でも手に入れようとする波平。飼い主がビスケットを食べていれば、突撃してそれを盗もうとしたり。
もちろん、あげませんよ。インコちゃんたちの健康には良くないですからね。でも、あきらめない波平。
なみちゃん、言わせてちょうだい。「飼い主より愛をこめて。」

How to win Namihei / 波平に勝つには

Don't trick me!

Yesterday I bought a couple of plastic boxes to put my precious things (figures, etc.) inside.
Do I want to protect them from dust? No, I want to protect them from Namihei.
How to win Namihei... this is what I'm thinking these days.
Well, these boxes already have got Namihei's attention. She is investigating them very seriously and pushes them a lot. If she does "Sumo" with these boxes, yes, the victory shall be hers, unfortunately.
Where should I put these boxes? I'm sure she will find them wherever they are. Yes, she is very cunning, isn't she?

I don't like it.

昨日、プラスチックケースを購入しました。私の大切なもの（フィギュアとか）を入れておくためです。
埃から守るためというより、波平から守るためです。
最近考えていること。なみちゃんに勝には？！
このケース、すでになみちゃんの目に入ってしまって、入念な捜査が始まってしまいました。そして押しまくる…。
相撲をやったら、もちろん勝つのはなみちゃんに決まってますね。
このケース、どこに置けばいいのか。どこに置いたって、なみちゃんは見つけ出すんです。だって、抜け目ないですからね！

A little progress / ちょっとした進歩

Did you call me?

Namihei is doing well. Yesterday it was raining all day, so I stayed at home with her.
Well, I can see a little progress in her.
She looks at me when I call her. She hasn't come over yet, but at least, she doesn't ignore me anymore!
And it seems that she is practising to fly well. My head is one of her triangle spots... she goes to the wood shelf where I keep my precious stuff first, then goes to another wood shelf where I hang my clothes. And perhaps my head is the terminal, I suppose. Wherever I am, she flies back to my head...

なみちゃんはおかげさまで元気にしています。昨日は雨だったので、1日中一緒に家で過ごしました。
気難しいなみちゃんに、ちょっとした進歩が見られましたよ。
「なみちゃん」と呼ぶと、こっちを見てくれます！もちろん、まだ来てくれることはないんですけど。少なくとも、「ムシ状態」からは脱却です。
そして、よく飛ぶ練習をしています。どうやら私の頭は彼女のトライアングルスポットの１つになっているようで…。
お気に入りグッズを飾っている棚に飛び立ち、その後は洋服を掛けているクローゼットの上へ飛び移り、最後には私がどこにいても、私の頭に飛んできます。私の頭は終着駅ってことか…。
じゃあ次は、私の頭にもちゃんと敬意を払ってもらえるよう学習してもらわないといけませんね！

It's fun!

No more medicine! I let Namihei take the last drop of the medicine this evening. As I've mentioned before, she is very stubborn, so it's not easy to give her medication.
By the way, she still refuses green veggies too!
Well, I didn't sleep well last night because of Namihei. When I went to bed, she was making noise with having late supper.
Then it was after 3:00 am. She started making noise again! She was tapping something with her beak. At first I thought she had a heart attack or something, but it seemed that she had been enjoying the noise!
In the morning she was in a good mood. As for me, of course, I was so grumpy!
She enjoyed tapping everything with her beak and walked around... yes, she also tapped my fingers too.
Anyway, it's much better than bitten!

お薬終了！今晩最後のお薬をなみちゃんに飲ませました。以前、このブログにも書きましたが、波平はかなりの頑固モノなので、お薬を飲ませるのも一苦労です。
ちなみに、いまだに小松菜も食べてくれません…。
昨晩、なみちゃんのおかげであまりよく眠れませんでした。寝ようと横になった時には、突然ご飯を食べだす音でなかなか寝付けず。
そして夜中の３時過ぎ、突然ケージから物音が。最初はまた具合でも悪くなって苦しんでるのかと思ったのですが、どうやら大きな音を立てて楽しんでただけのようです。
今朝、なみちゃんはとってもご機嫌。飼い主とっても不機嫌ですけど。
くちばしでいろんなものをコツコツしながら歩きまわるなみちゃん。私の指にもコツコツを連発。
もちろん、がぶっと噛まれるより断然いいんですけどね！

Sneezing! / くしゃみ

Can I eat it?

Namihei keeps sneezing again.
Well, she was okay in the morning though. And she was okay in her cage when I got home too.
So... it seems she does sneeze when she is out of her cage in the evening.
What does make her sneeze?!
Do I bring lots of pollens with me when I come back from work?!
And how many time do I have to be attacked by Namihei water?! Yes, she often sneezes when she is near my face!
Anyway, at least she looks fine and seems to keep away from catching a cold.
By the way, she smells like an orange today though she has never had oranges...

波平は、まだくしゃみをよくしています。
今朝はくしゃみなんてしてなかったし、私が家に帰ってきた時もケージの中では全くしていませんでしたが。
どうやら、夜にケージから出て遊んでいる時にくしゃみをすることが多いようです。
何が原因なのか。もしかして、私が家に帰ってくる時に花粉を一緒に持ってきてしまっているのでしょうか。
そして、何度このなみちゃんの鼻水に攻撃を受けなければいけないのでしょうか…。なぜか私の顔の近くにいる時に限ってくしゃみを連発するなみちゃん（笑）。
元気そうにみえるし、風邪をひかないようにもしているので、とりあえず大丈夫でしょうか。
それにしても、今日はなぜかオレンジの匂いがする波平。オレンジなんて食べたことないんですけどね。

Has Namihei got an allergy to pollens?! / 波平は花粉症?!

Don't look at me!

Well, I have an allergy to pollens and this is the reason why I cannot enjoy spring very much.
So does Namihei?! Can a budgie have an allergy to pollens?!
Tonight Namihei keeps sneezing, though it's not cold at all.
And she splashes her water (snivel) and it comes to my face...
If it is from a cold, will I catch a cold?!
I hope not!
Anyway, so far she is doing well and enjoys playing out of her cage.

I'm still sleepy...

飼い主、ただいま花粉症で苦しんでいます。これが春が来てとってもうれしい、とは思えない理由です。
なみちゃんも、花粉症なんでしょうか。そもそも、インコに花粉症なんてものがあるんでしょうか？！
今日は夜の放鳥時にやたらとくしゃみを連発する波平。部屋は暖房を入れているので寒くないはずです。
そして、くしゃみをした際、まき散らされる鼻水が、私の顔を直撃。
これがもし風邪からのくしゃみだったら、私にもこの風邪がうつるんでしょうか？！
波平風邪にかかりませんように…。
今日も元気に外で遊んでいます。
