I'm still eating. / まだ食べてます。

Yesterday I took a day off and stayed all day at home (I just went out a bit in the morning though). So I was with Namihei all day long. Well, she takes a nap on the floor afternoon. I've heard of it from my mum, but I thought she wasn't feeling well at first!
When I let her sleep, I cover her cage with a special cloth. Namihei is a clever one and knows I will wait until she finishes her meal. So she sometimes pretends to eat seeds when she sees me having the cloth! When it happens, I have to wait for her sign, "Yes, you may"... sometimes I'm wondering who is the boss, me or Namihei.

昨日は有給休暇を取っていました。午前中、ちょこっと出かけただけで、あとは家にいたので、つまり波平とずっと一緒にいられたわけです。午後になると、なみちゃんは床に座り込んで居眠りを始めます。この習慣、母からは聞いてはいたものの、最初は具合が悪いんじゃないかと心配になりました。
なみちゃんを寝かせる時は、ケージにおやすみカバーをかけています。なみちゃん、ずる賢いんです。ごはんを食べてる間はカバーはかけないとわかっているので、たまに食べてるふりをするんです！だからそんな時は、「よろしい」の合図があるまで、私はカバーを持って待っているわけです。これじゃ、どっちが飼い主なんだかわかりませんね。
