There is night when you cannot sleep. / 眠れない夜もある。

Namihei is usually quiet after I put a sleeping cover on her cage. I'm sure she is having a good rest until the following morning.
Last night something was wrong with her. After I put the cover on the cage, she suddenly shouted and I thought she had hurt herself. I took the cover out and checked her in a hurry. Well, she looked okay. The same thing happened several times and I finally opened her cage and let her out. You know what, she wanted to have a sleep on her bedroom in the paper-craft house! She rested there for a while and she didn't go back to her cage. Of course, I had to let her go back though. She was reluctant, but I'm sure she was somehow satisfied. She didn't make a noise after that!

ケージにお休みカバーをかければ、波平はたいてい静かにお休みしてくれます。きっと、朝までぐっすりでしょうか。
先晩は何かがおかしかったようで、お休みカバーをかけた後、急に悲鳴のような鳴き声を発したんです。ケガでもしたのではと、急いでカバーを外して中を見ると、なみちゃんは無事。こんなことが数回続き、とうとう私はなみちゃんをケージの外へ出すことにしました。どうやら、ペーパークラフトでできたバードハウスのベッドルームで寝たかったようなんです！そこでしばらく居眠りをして、もうケージには戻りたくない様子。もちろん、放鳥したまま一晩過ごすことはできないので、ケージに戻しました。しぶしぶ戻ったなみちゃんですが、多少は満足したみたいです。その後は、音も立てずに静かにお休みしていましたからね！
