Getting comfortable with you / 一緒にいると安心。

I took Namihei to the clinic yesterday. It was raining heavily and the train was delayed due to an accident. Something was trying to prevent us from going to the clinic?! Anyway, we arrived there safely.
The vet confirmed that Namihei's poo condition had been getting better and he said she would finish moulting soon so that her liver would work properly.
We are getting back to the vet again this Saturday and then hopefully we can schedule the surgery.
Well, the vet checked her beak again and again, and it upset her. She looked so sad and weak after that and guess what, she found comfort in me! While we were waiting for her medicine at the waiting room, she came to me (though she was in a carry cage) and she let me scratch her for a while. I can't believe that, as she doesn't want me to touch her...
I'm so glad to know that she can feel comfortable with me.

昨日は波平の診察でした。あいにくの雨、そして電車の人身事故と、見えざる力が私たちが病院へ行くのを阻んでいるのではないか（大げさですね）、なんて考えたりしましたが、無事に病院に到着しました。
なみちゃんのフンの状態はだんだん良くなっているようで、換羽が終わるまであともう少し様子を見ようということで、土曜日にまた診察があります。そろそろ手術への準備も進めたいところですね。
先生は、念入りになみちゃんのクチバシをチェックしていたのですが、何度もぐりぐりされた波平はものすごい落ち込みようで…。診察後はしょぼんとしちゃいました。お薬の調合を待っている間、なんとなみちゃんが私に安らぎを見出したではありませんか！奇跡です。ケージ越しに私に近づいてきたかと思ったら、カキカキを要求…。めったにない貴重な時間でした。なみちゃん、普段はお触り厳禁ですからね。
それにしても、なみちゃんが私と一緒にいると安心するとわかって、本当にうれしかったです。
