Namihei and Ikura / 波平とイクラ

When I welcomed Ikura, I worried about her, because she was a bit slow. But now I don't think I need to worry about her anymore. She is very active and it seems that she has taken over Namihei's skills. Of course, it still takes time to become like Namihei though.
Ikura is a normal budgie and her weight is 31g now. As for Namihei, she was mixed with English budgie, so her weight was 50g. You can see the difference in these photos!
Well, I'm sure we do agree that Namihei was an extraordinary budgie. And if we give Ikura enough time, I think she will become a unique one as well.

イクラをお迎えした当初は、かなりドンくさいインコだな、と心配していたのですが、もうそんな風に心配することもなくなりました。イクラ、とっても活発で、どうも波平の特技を踏襲しつつあるんですよね。もちろん、波平のようになるにはかなり時間がかかると思いますが。
イクラは普通のセキセイインコで、体重は31ｇです。一方、波平はジャンボセキセイの混血なので（お店では「ジャンボセキセイ」として販売されていました）、体重は50ｇでした。こうして見ると、体格の違いがはっきりわかりますよね？
みなさんきっと、波平がスペシャルインコだったことに異議はないと思うのですが、イクラも時間をかければ、だいぶユニークなインコになると思いますよ。
