The day we met for the first time. / 波平と私が出会った日。

I met Namihei for the first time 3 years ago today. I remember it was Friday and went to the ship after work.
I was thinking about welcoming a different budgie (I wanted a blue one at that time), but he wasn't ready to eat by himself yet.
Then I noticed this yellow one who kept sitting near to me. When I put my finger in front of her, she came to me without hesitation. That's why I decided to welcome Namihei. Now I know we were meant to meet and live together. Perhaps she had a mission to teach me many important things in life.
I am so happy that I was able to meet her and spent time with her.

 3年前の今日、波平に初めて出会いました。あの日は金曜日で、仕事が終わってダッシュでお店に向かったのを覚えています。
本当は、ブルーのセキセイちゃん狙いだったのですが、その子はまだ一人餌ではなかったので、お迎えを断念しました。そんな時に、プラケースの中で私の近くに寄ってじっとしている黄色いインコの存在に気づいたんです。お店の人に外に出してもらい、指を近づけると、何の迷いもなく手に乗ってくれた波平。これがお迎えを決めた瞬間でした。
思えば私たちは、きっと出会う運命で、共に時間を過ごすことが約束されていたんでしょうね。波平の任務はきっと、私に人生でたいせつなことを教えることだったのではないでしょうか。
なみちゃんにで会えて、短い間でも一緒に過ごすことができて、本当に幸せです。
