Namihei recognises her name / わたしは波平

Recently there is progress in Namihei. She responses to my calling, "Namihei". Yes, she recognises her name now! So when I call her name, she looks over toward me. Well, that's all thought. Then she goes back to her own business and she doesn't come over to me, unfortunately. But this is a fantastic progress for such a snobbish budgie, Namihei!
By the way, I cut her nails on Saturday night. It was the 2nd time and I think I did well. Namihei got in a bad mood after that, but I gave some special meals and it made her happy again.

最近、波平に進歩が見られました。「なみちゃん」という私の呼びかけに反応するようになったんです。名前を呼ぶと、こっちを見るんですよ。ま、それだけなんですけど。こっちに来ることはなく、すぐに自分の世界に戻っていきますが。でも、これってものすごい進歩なんですよ。なんていったって、なみちゃんはお高くとまったインコですからね（笑）。
ところで、土曜日の夜、2回目となる爪切りをしました。爪切り後、なみちゃんが不機嫌になってしまったので、おやつで仲直りしておきました。
