Namihei with a cone / 波平とエリザベスカラー

Yesterday I left work early and took Namihei to the vet.
Well, I worried about her, because she was still bleeding. Besides her left eye looked watery and she looked having puffiness under the left eye.
The vet also looked very difficult... he says first we must stop her bleeding.
There are three possibilities. It's because it takes time to heal the beak wound, it causes the problem. Or she may suffer from sinusitis. The worst case is there is a tumour inside. If it would, we had to start chemotherapy.
He asked me to let Namihei stay hospital, but we agreed to let her stay at home with a cone in the end. Since she doesn't want to eat with a cone, he tells me to remove it twice a day so that she can eat.
She isn't happy with a cone, but I have no choice until her wound is healed. I really hope everything is fine with her!

プレミアムフライデーだった昨日。会社は導入していないので、早退して波平を病院へ連れて行きました。
じつは、血まめのようなところから出血し、まだ血が止まっていなかったのと、左眼がうるうるしていた上、眼の下が腫れていたのが心配で急きょ診察へ。
先生も困っていました。なぜ傷が良くならないのか。まずは出血を止めることが先決ですが、３つ考えられる要素があります。傷自体が治らないので出血の影響が体内で液体のようにたまってしまっている。あるいは副鼻腔炎になってしまって体内で炎症が起きている。もう１つは、腫瘍が残っているという可能性。腫瘍だった場合、今度は切除できるような場所ではないので、抗がん剤治療を始めなくてはいけません。
入院も勧められましたが、結局、エリザベスカラーをつけて自宅で頑張るという決断をしました。前回の入院で、カラーをすると食べなくなってしまったので、今回は1日２回、カラーを外してあげて食べる時間を与えてあげることに。
カラーをつけられて、ものすごくご不満ななみちゃんですが、傷がしっかり治るまでは仕方ありません。はやく治って、カラーを卒業できますように！
