The distance between Namihei and me / 波平とわたしの距離

I don't think Namihei dislikes me, but she isn't in love with me. I don't think she feels I'm her mum.
Perhaps we're friends and we're pretty doing well, I suppose.
These days I feel that she is getting close to me. When I call her while she plays in my room, she often comes to me.
When I put my finger on the wall of the plastic case, she comes to it and tries to lick it. If I put my finger inside, she comes to me and touches my finger.
It may take time, but I want her to feel comfortable with me!

波平が私のことを好きじゃない、なんて思ったりしていませんが、恋してるとか、私のことをお母さんだと思ってる、なんて風にも思いません。
おそらく、私たちは仲の良い友だちなんでしょうね。
ここのところ、なみちゃんが急接近してきた気がするんです。部屋で放鳥中、呼ぶと来てくれることが多くなりました。
プラケースの側面に指を押し当てると、近寄ってきてなめようとしたり、中に指を入れてみると、やはり近寄ってきてくれて、顔で触れようとしてくれます。
まだまだ時間はかかるかもしれませんが、なみちゃんが私と一緒にいて心地よい…と思ってくれるとうれしいです。
