Namihei is at home. / 波平はお家。

Namihei came back safely yesterday. Well, I was quite shocked when I saw her at hospital though. She is so tiny and fragile now.
Actually she didn't gain weight at all. I found that 2g droppings stuck around her belly...
Anyway, at least she has got enough energy to shout a lot. Last night when she arrived at home, she kept calling. I really hope she'll use this energy to eat as well though.
This morning I was a bit worried about her, because she had to stay at home alone. When I came home, she started calling me and it made me so relieved.
It seems that she was doing well, but  her appetite wasn't so great.
She is on medication and we will visit the clinic once a week for checkup. And then she'll receive chemo treatment again in a month. So far we have no idea how long she has to take it. As of now, the vet can't say if it is working yet. I'll keep praying for her.

波平、昨日無事に戻ってきました。
病院でなみちゃんを見た時は、正直ショックでした。からだがさらに小さくなっていて、弱々しく見えたからです。
入院中、増えてると思われていた体重も、じつはおなか周りにくっついていたフンが原因だったと判明。その重さ、なんと２ｇです。
でも、元気いっぱいに鳴く元気はありました。帰宅すると、ずっと元気よく鳴いていましたよ。このエネルギーを食べることにも費やしてほしいのですが。
今朝はなみちゃんのことがちょっと心配でした。退院してすぐのお留守番だったからです。急いで帰宅したとき、なみちゃんのお出迎え鳴き声が聞こえ、本当にホッとしました。そんなに食べてはいないようでしたが、とにかくなんとか元気に過ごしていてくれたようです。
なみちゃんは現在投薬が続いていて、週に１度の診察で様子見です。そして次回の抗がん剤治療を１カ月後に行う予定です。抗がん剤治療をどれくらい継続していくのかなど、先々のことは決まっていませんし、現段階で今回の抗がん剤が効いたかどうかの判断もできないそうです。
これからもなみちゃんの回復を願いつつ、しっかり看護していきます。
