(the photos were taken before Namihei stayed in hospital.)

I called the clinic to check how Namihei was today. She is quiet, though she keeps her appetite and weight. I heard that she had got bleeding form the beak wound, so I'm worried about her.
She still has to stay in hospital and I'm wondering when she can come home with me.
By the way, I always try to take photos of Namihei to make her look cuter, but my photography skills are not so great, unfortunately. And because of this, some people must feel unpleasant with our photos.
In case you feel the same, I must apologise first, but please remember she is very precious and beautiful even though she has no upper beak and got a blood on the wound. I just want to tell that there is a budgie who is trying to make her life better.

今日の波平は、じっとしていることが多く、出血もあったそうです。ただ、食欲は変わらず、体重も維持しています。
もう少し病院で様子見が必要なようです。
1日もはやく、なみちゃんに会いたいし、一緒にお家に帰ってきたいです。

話は変わりますが、なみちゃんがガンになって手術を受けて以来、ずいぶんと外見が変わってしまいましたが、なるべくかわいく見えるように写真を撮るようにしています。
それでも、やはり私の技術不足で、不愉快な思いをさせてしまう写真になっているかもしれません。広い世の中、そう思う人がいても不思議ではないし、もしそう思わせてしまっていたら、先に謝っておきます。
ただ、ひとこと言わせていただくならば、クチバシがなくても、ちょっと血が出ちゃってても、見た目が普通のインコと違っていても、私にとっては大切な家族です。その家族の写真を「かわいいでしょ？」と見せたくなる気持ちはみなさんと一緒です。
そして、病気と闘うことができる、インコの病院もある、頑張ってるインコがいる、そんなことをお伝えしたくて、ブログなどを続けています。
じつは、病気のインコの写真が不愉快であるというコメントをいただき、その点は理解できるのですが、加えて「同情集めの虐待飼い主」と呼ばれて、かなりショックを受けました。あらためて、「伝える」ということは、とても難しいことだと実感した次第です。
