Fly, fly, and fly / 飛び出せ、波平。

I was reminded of my fiasco, which happened on the 29th of April, 2017. The first photo was taken on that day.
We were in the waiting room of the clinic after Namihei's examination. Well, I let her escape from her cage by accident and she kept flying around the room. She even stepped on the heads of other people! I called her and she came to me reluctantly, but you know, she was so smart. When I tried to catch her, she escaped from me. Finally a female vet came to rescue us. She did catch her!
I was so ashamed of this incident, but it's safe to confess this now, I suppose.
Tomorrow I'm going to Kyoto and return the lucky charm for her to the temple. This temple offers lucky charms for companion birds.
I got this lucky charm from one of my followers on Instagram. Now I've got a responsibility to return it by myself and I know it sounds weird, but I want a new one for Namihei. And I've got another plan, which I want to tell you later.
Anyway, I'll do my best not to get lost...

 今日、私の大失態を思い出させるコメントをインスタグラムでいただき、そろそろ時効だと思い、告白することにしました。
この波平の写真を撮った今年の４月29日。診察を終え、待合室でふたりでいた時に、誤って波平をケージから出してしまいました。突然自由になった波平、私のことなんて無視して飛び回る、飛び回る。待合室の飼い主さんたちの頭の上を次々とステップし、必死に追いかけ叫ぶ私のところにしぶしぶ戻ってきたかと思ったら、捕まえようとするとスルリとかわしてまた逃げる。最後には、優しい女医さんが出てきてくれて、波平を捕まえてくれました。本当にやってはいけない、飼い主として恥ずべき失態です。
でも、もう今だから笑ってもいいですかね？
明日は、京都に行ってきます。関東近辺の方ならご存知でしょうか、JR東海のＣＭ。まさにあの音楽が流れ、「そうだ、京都に行こう」と思いつき、新幹線の値段の高さに驚きながらも手配をしました。
以前、インスタグラムのフォロワーの方から、因幡堂のインコのお守りをいただいていたのですが、その返却を兼ねての旅です。役目を終えたお守りを返却し、妙な話ですけど、また新しいものを波平のためにいただくつもりです。ほかにも計画がありますが、こちらはまた別の機会にお話しさせてくださいね。
