Ikura is still a baby. / イクラはまだヒナっこ。

Ikura was hatched in early August, so I think she is a one month old baby.
As for Namihei, she was hatched in the middle of August and she was a 1.5 month old when she came to my house.
This gap made a difference between them?!
Well, Ikura often starts dozing off while she is doing something. She even does off while eating!
She also feeds me... I asked the vet about this and he told me not to worry about it. Perhaps Ikura fed her siblings when she was with her mum. So she remembered it and tried to do the same thing to me.
When I welcomed Namihei, she was very quiet and didn't let me scratch her. And then she became a curious budgie, as you know.
I'm wondering how Ikura grows up. Can she become another curious budgie? We shall see then!

イクラが生まれたのは8月上旬なので、今ちょうど１ヵ月くらいでしょうか。
波平は、8月中旬頃の生まれだったので、お迎えしたときはだいたい1.5カ月くらいだったと思います。
この差が、ふたりの違いをもたらすのでしょうか？
イクラはしょっちゅう、何かしていると思ったら居眠りを始めます。しかも、食べながらでも寝てしまうことも。
それから、よく私にごはんをくれます…。獣医さんに相談したところ、心配しなくて良いとのこと。おそらく親鳥からごはんをもらっていたときに、兄弟とごはんのあげっこをしていた名残だそうです。
波平の場合は、お迎えしたときはとっても静かで、カキカキもさせてくれない子でした。それが、ご存知のように好奇心旺盛なインコに成長したわけです。
イクラはどんな風に成長していくのでしょうか。イクラもまた、波平のように好奇心旺盛なインコになるのでしょうか。今後が楽しみですね。
