When Ikura gets bored / 自由なインコ、イクラ。

It often takes time for Ikura to come out from her cage when I open the entrance. Sometimes I have to take her to out by myself.
While she plays outside, she goes back to her cage suddenly. And then she starts grooming herself inside. Perhaps she gets bored outside...
Well, Namihei always came out from her cage immediately when I opened the entrance. She was a bit reluctant when she was a baby though. But she didn't go back to her cage on her own. I was always in trouble with taking her back to her cage. If I remember correctly, perhaps only a couple of times she did go back to her cage on her own.
I still need to get to know Ikura well.

放鳥時、ケージの扉を開けても、イクラが外に出てくるにはずいぶん時間がかかります。ケージの中から私が連れ出す、なんてこともしょっちゅうあります。
外で遊んでいても、急にケージに戻ることもあるイクラ。外にいても、つまらなくなってしまったのでしょうか。
波平はいつもケージの扉を開けると、猛ダッシュで外に出てきました。それでも、お迎え当初はなかなか出てこないこともありましたね。
そして、一度出たら最後、ケージに戻すのに毎回苦労していました。約３年間で、自らケージに戻ったのは数回しかありませんね。
イクラのことを知るには、まだまだ時間がかかりそうです。
