Meet Ikura! / イクラをよろしく。

I've got an opportunity to take a responsibility for a new precious life. Meet Ikura!
When I saw her at a shop for the first time, she kept watching me, but wasn't ready to eat by herself.
And then when I visited the shop again, she was still there and started eating on her own! So I decided to take her home.
I call her "she", but I'm not sure if Ikura is a boy or girl yet. You know, it doesn't matter!
At first, I was thinking of "Katsuo" or "Tara" for the new one. They're from the Japanese manga, "Sazae-san", same as Namihei. But when I saw this new little one, I just called her "Ikura". "Ikura" is also from the same manga though. Oh, I didn't realise until a friend of mine pointed it out. In the manga, Ikura's familiy name is "Namino". It sounds "Nami's" in Japanese. Do you think it's just a coincidence?! I really felt happy when I noticed it and I knew Namihei was still around me. Because of her, we'll be fine, I think.

新しい大切ないのちをお迎えしました。
イクラです。よろしくお願いします。
最初にイクラにショップで会ったとき、お互い見つめ合ったものの、まだひとり餌ではなかったため、お迎えはできませんでした。ほぼあきらめていたものの、再度ショップを訪れると、いるではありませんか。しかも、ひとり餌デビューしていました。またじっと見て、お触りして、お迎えを決めました。
まだ性別は不明ですが、どうですかね。また女の子でしょうか？どちらでも、もちろん構わないのですが。
次にお迎えしたら、やっぱりサザエさんファミリーで、カツオかタラを考えていたのですが、なぜかこの子を見た時、「イクラ」と呼んでいました。
インスタグラムのフォロワーさんに言われるまでまったく気づいていなかったのですが、イクラちゃんの苗字をご存知ですか？そうです、「波野イクラ」なんです。「なみの」ですよ。もう、波平の力が働いたとしか思えません。そう思ったら、なんだかとっても幸せな気持ちになると同時に、イクラのことも愛おしく思えてきました。そして、波平が私のそばにいることが、うれしくなりました。だから、きっと大丈夫。イクラと仲良くなれるはずです。
