Moulting / 換羽

Yesterday I found four flight feathers dropped on the cage, so Namihei must have started moulting again. I'm wondering how many times she will face moulting in a year.
To be honest, it's not the right timing, as she is still on medication and recovering. I hope it won't affect her condition.
As for today, I didn't find any dropped feathers, but she looked exhausted. She was cheerful enough and demanded to play out of her cage, but she started dozing off in the end.
I let her go to bed early tonight, so hope she will be alright tomorrow morning!

昨日、ケージに大きな羽が４本落ちていました。波平、また換羽が始まったようです。それにしても、いったい年に何度換羽があるのでしょうか。
正直なところ、このタイミングで換羽が始まるのは好ましくありません。というのも、まだなみちゃんは投薬中で、本調子じゃないからです。
今日は羽は抜けていなかったようですが、お疲れの様子。呼び鳴きする元気はあり、外で遊びたいと要求してきたものの、結局はケージの外で居眠りを始めるなみちゃん。そんなわけで、今夜は早めにおやすみを言いました。明日の朝、元気いっぱいになっていますように！
