A Peaceful Day / 穏やかな１日

I spent the entire morning with Namihei, though she was busy with her own chores, which means "mess" for me.
The weather was so lovely and it was good to enjoy the sunshine in the living room. I wanted her to have a bath after the sunbathing, but she refused my kind advice! Instead, she got back to my room and resumed her chores.
Oh, what exactly are "chores"? Well, she does gnaw books and making paper crumbs. She also check every my bag and porch. She thinks this is her job to earn daily meals.
Anyway, it's good as long as she is doing well and happy. My ideal peaceful day should be like we spend together in the living room. I'm reading a book and she is napping on my hand or shoulder. What do you think?

今日は午前中はずっと波平と一緒に過ごせました。といっても、なみちゃんは自分のことで忙しくしていましたが。なみちゃんにとってのお仕事が、私にとっては迷惑の種となります（笑）。
お天気も良く、リビングで日光浴も楽しめましたよ。日光浴の後は水浴びをお勧めしたのですが、今日は拒否されました。そして、私の部屋にダッシュで帰って、仕事に戻ったなみちゃん。それにしても、「仕事」って？と疑問に思われますよね。なみちゃんのお仕事は、私の本をかじって、紙くずを生産すること。そして、私のバッグやポーチの中を点検することです。これで日々のごはんがもらえると思っているのでしょう！
なみちゃんが元気で幸せであるならば、文句はありません。ただ、私の理想的な穏やかな１日というのは、リビングでふたりで過ごすこと。私が本を読んでいる間、手の上か、肩の上でなみちゃんがお昼寝をしている、というようなものです。いかがでしょうか？
