The Beak / クチバシ

Today I took Namihei to the clinic. We visit the vet for her liver once a month.
Her beak was chipped off a bit last month and from there we can see a new one, but it doesn't look well. So the vet suggested to take sample from her beak for the external institution. It might be a tumour, but it can be difficult to examine with such a tiny piece. I don't want to regret what I did not try, so I agreed with the vet.
Namihei is still moulting and the problem is she does pull out her feathers too. The good thing is her appetite is fantastic. That's the only hope for her health, I suppose.
What I can do for her now is let her eat well and enjoy her life with less stress. Stress isn't good for budgies as well!!

 今日は診察の日でした。波平の肝臓に問題があるとわかってから、毎月病院へ通っています。
先月、くちばしがちょこっと欠けてしまったのですが、そこから生えてきたのが出来が悪く、外部機関に検体に出してみようかと獣医さんに提案されました。もしかしたら腫瘍かもしれない。でも、この部分だけからでは特定できないかもしれない。ということでしたが、やはり「やらなかったこと」を後悔するのは嫌なので、検査をお願いしました。
なみちゃんはまだ換羽中です。そして、毛引きも始まったので、これも悩ましい問題。ただ、食欲だけは落ちず、旺盛なので、これだけがもう健康優良児への望みですね。
いま、私にできることは、なみちゃんによく食べてもらい、ストレスをためずに楽しく生活してもらうこと。ストレスはインコにも大敵なんですよ！
