A well behaved budgie / お行儀のよいインコ

If someone asks me if Namihei is a well behaved budgie, my answer is NO. I should have tamed her well when she was a baby, but I just let her do whatever she wanted instead. Anyway, I guess it's alright as long as she is doing well.
Today I changed her meal a bit. I simply mixed pellets and seeds in equal proportion. She usually throws pellets away when she is in her cage, so I was wondering if she could eat all of them.
When I came back home from work, I checked her meal box and it seemed that she did eat both of the pellets and seeds! That's good, because I'm planning to feed her pellets only in the future. I know it will take time though.

もし、波平がお行儀のよいインコかと聞かれたら、答えはもちろん、ノーです。なみちゃんをお迎えしたときに、もっとちゃんとしつければ良かったのでしょうが、お迎えした当初から好き放題させていました。今となっては、なみちゃんが元気でいてくれればそれで良いと思っています。
今日、なみちゃんのごはんの配合をちょっと変えてみました。シンプルに、ペレットとシードを半分ずつにしてみたんです。ケージにいるときは、ペレットを投げ捨ててしまう傾向があるので、ちょっと心配だったのですが、帰宅してからエサ箱をチェックすると、ちゃんと両方食べていたようです。将来的には完全にペレットに切り替えたいと思っているので、とても良い傾向です。もちろん、時間はかかりますけど…。
