Feather Picker / 羽拾い

I got home a bit late, so I didn't have enough time to play with Namihei today. At least she enjoyed playing out in the morning. Besides she isn't energetic right now because of the moulting period. She always looks so tired and sleepy anyway. I know the moulting period must be annoying, but I always enjoy looking for her dropped feathers. When I find big ones, such as tail feathers and flight feathers, I get so excited and it's like a treasure hunt!
Well, Namihei, I'm off tomorrow, so we can play together all day.

 今日は仕事からの帰宅が遅くなってしまって、夜はあまり遊ぶ時間がありませんでした。ま、朝はちゃんと遊ぶ時間があったし、今は換羽中でそんなに元気いっぱいでもないんですよね、波平。お疲れ気味で眠そうにしてます。
換羽って、やっぱり面倒なものなのかと思うのですが、私は落ちた羽を拾うのが大好きです。尾羽や風切羽といった大きな羽を見つけたときは、まるで宝探しのようにはしゃいでしまいます。
そうそう、明日は有給休暇をとったので、１日中一緒に遊べますよ！
