Namihei wants to be with someone. / 波平、誰かと一緒にいたい。

When I came back home from work today, Namihei was alone at home. My mum usually comes home around 5 o'clock, but she must have worked late.
So Namihei looked happy and kept calling me once she noticed me.
Well, it seems that Namihei flapped a lot while she was alone, because her feathers were everywhere in the living room.
According to my mum, Namihei feels comfortable as long as either I or she is at home. Just being together, my mum says. Perhaps she is right. Namihei doesn't want to play with me, but she just wants me to stay with her.

仕事から帰宅すると、波平がポツンと留守番してました。母が仕事から帰宅するのはだいたい5時頃なのですが、今日はきっと残業だったのでしょうね。
だから、私が帰ってきたことがわかると、なみちゃんはうれしそうでした。しかも、呼び鳴きしたりして。
留守番中、どうやら羽をパタパタして暴れたようで、リビングのあちこちになみちゃんの羽毛が散らばっていました。
母によれば、私か母が家にいれば、なみちゃんは安心なんだそうです。ただ、一緒にいるだけで。きっと、そうなんでしょうね。なみちゃんは一緒には遊びたがりませんが、そばにいてほしいんだと思います。
